“This was the best test session I ever did in my life,” claimed Peter Hedström one week ago and after a 15 hours lasting test day at Höljes, where he drove a total of 50 laps to set-up his 550+bhp car. “I‘m very confident before Hungary now, the test was great, the car feels like brand new and I was even able to set a new personal track record at my home-track Höljesbanan. We are really well prepared this time and I look expectantly forward to the competition in Nyirád,” expressed the Škoda Fabia Mk2 SuperCar campaigner prior to Round 3 of the FIA European Rallycross Championship at the Nyirádi Motorsport Centrum near Lake Balaton in Hungary.

At Höljes Hedströms Motorsport ran a comprehensive test with its 2013 Fabia. In succession shocks, springs and diffs were changed and checked for to get the right package together. Shock absorber specialist Öhlins was also at the venue to assist the team with the necessary knowledge. “Roll on Hungary, I’m hungry for points,” grinned Hedström before starting his trip from Torsby to Nyirád.
