2012 ERC Competitor unveils car ahead of WRC Rally Sweden.

2121 The Swedish Rallycross driver, Peter Hedström makes a full return to the ERC next season. Ahead of proceedings in April, the Swede today unveils his newly designed Škoda Fabia at a sponsor event with his principle sponsor, ‘Autoexperten’ in Karlstad. The car’s livery has been designed and prepared by ERC24’s very own Jakub QBA Nitka.

Hedström had revealed late last year that’ “One car is race ready and will be showcased during the Rally Sweden, there will be a minimum of two years with this investment.” This has been confirmed to take place on Thursday, in which Hedstrom will drive in a WRC Sweden presentation race with the ex-Jernberg Škoda Fabia at a track in Karlstad. Hedstrom will in fact be driving against Tommy Kristofferson behind the wheel of a Jernberg built VW Scirocco .

This will pave the way for Hedstrom’s first full season in the ERC. “ A medal in European Championships and the National Championships is the goal.”
